I have some (legally bought) DVD concerts. I want to copy the soundtrack only so that I can ultimately convert them to MP3 files, and playback it in a MP3 player (iPod kinda thing), or in a perfect world... I'd like to find a easy to use software to extract the soundtrack from DVD's and convert them to MP3 files. My first challange is how can I copy the music only off a DVD? What's the best software to do this on my Mac computer? And how exactly? Thanks.
As you might know, ripping the soundtrack from a CD is easy with iTunes or Windows Media Player. But ripping DVD soundtrack is totally a different thing. You need a DVD ripping software to extract the soundtracks then convert them to an audio format as you want, say MP3.

Step 1: Download & install iFunia DVD to iPod Converter for Mac

Step 6: Transfer/Sync video to the iPod
To get the MP3 onto your iPod, launch iTunes 6 (or later). If you do not have it, download iTunes now. Drag your new extracted MP3 file into your iTunes library in the folder or playlist of your choosing.
Attach your iPod to your computer and sync the iPod with iTunes. If you're connecting your iPod for the first time, you'll need to name it, and choose how you'd like to manage your music and video. When syncing is done, eject your iPod and take your movies with you.
